hi
i'm after building home server can watch films on tv , download torrents,
wondering software best doing i've installed ubuntu
want able excess server via computer , laptop , able play films
on server directly connectted tv

i think if can connect tv network ethernet cable can simple. intall ubuntu server , torrent transmission gui(totorial http://1000umbrellas.com/2010/04/21/...4-server-lucid), , file sharing use samba (a little totorial http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-26438.html). thing need set download directory in samba shared.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
