strange problem - cant drop an mov file onto timeline

hello, i'm having strange problem couple of mov files. these shot same camera, canon 5d mkii, have 2 mov files, 1 shot right after other within 10 minutes of eachother, 1 of files can drop onto timeline , other wont let me, i've found couple other mov files shoot can not drop onto timeline, wehereas majority of files various shoots can.

 

any ideas or possible solutions problem?

 

again, same camera, same computer, same everything, few wont import while majority will.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
