while uploading few more components i'm getting these problems.

lock condition indicates other instances of package management open.
close out instances (usc. or synaptic, or dpkg, or apt-get ect ect): reboot.
run terminal commands:
code:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade
, see if package manager generates errors.
