Thread: convert test1.eps test1.png makes checkerboards

hi,

have pile of scatter plots (postscript) black crosses , lines on empty background. want use imagemagick convert command make .png files these, e.g.

convert test1.eps test1.png

works great, except background shown ugly checkerboard pattern in viewers such geeqie. know pattern default fill, prefer simple white background such plots.

tied various options in "convert" achieve (e.g. -transparent-color, -undercolor), checkerboard won't go away. (i need command line solution, work through 1000s of such plots each year.)
