Missing Font Issue - Identical Font Used

i use same fonts files , restarted cs6 , imported file find font missing. said arial narrow font missing , identical font used. proceeded click identical font , *arial. closed out , created new template , arial "was" still in font selection.

 

so question why file library missing font knowing font in library. keep experiencing maybe once month. in past go web , try downloading .ttf file again.

 

does font need enabled or particular file? how have illustrator open file using arial no problem created in same cs6.

such mismatches point different versions of same font having been used on different systems. either way, information sketchy eitehr confirm or dismiss theory.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
