Thread: Suspend does not work on XBMCbuntu
hi,
i'm using xbmcbuntu (frodo) sets on ubuntu 12.10. unfortunately suspend not work me guide here did not help.
hardware "zotac id41" suspend s3 enabled in bios.
when try suspend gui screen gets black second , system show again. when enter "pm-suspend" on terminal nothing happens.

things i've noticed:
- according /var/log/pm-suspend.log:
what contents of /etc/pm/sleep.d/99lirc-resume , trying achieve adding file?running hook /etc/pm/sleep.d/99lirc-resume suspend suspend:
unloading lirc kernel modules
error: module ir_lirc_codec not exist in /proc/modules
error: module lirc_dev not exist in /proc/modules
/etc/pm/sleep.d/99lirc-resume suspend suspend: returned exit code 1.

. why did add, , trying accomplish, adding usbcore.autosuspend=-1 acpi_enforce_resources=lax kernel boot command?boot_image=/boot/vmlinuz-3.5.0-22-generic root=uuid=3f176034-5faf-4c8d-bdb0-ddf65284e392 ro quiet splash usbcore.autosuspend=-1 acpi_enforce_resources=lax vt.handoff=7
.- and finally, using proprietary nvidia drivers? command might display more info:
