Thread: help with open ports?

while trying determine reason slow internet speeds, ran port scan on network.

first, keep seeing in routers log port scans keep coming bellsouth dns servers. running web server on ip address, normal dns sever run port scan?

real reason post, though, there 3 ports "filtered" don't recognize.... hmmmm. well, closed terminal accidentally while writing this, opened new terminal , re-ran nmap. ports weren't listed more, each time run nmap different ports show "filtered", none show "filtered". , actually, there couple of ports have set in "pinholes" aren't showing on port scan.

yep, normal have filtered ports when doing nmap.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
