Dreamweaver CS4 keeps re-creating cache

hello,

 

i followed steps listed in post related corrupted cache file (http://forums.adobe.com/message/2260933), , kind of sloved (dreamweaver starts).

 

now problem everytime turn off computer , turn on again, dreamweaver needs re-create cache files, , don't think thats normal activity, mean there non-corrupted brand new cache file, why still need re-create it? there can "disable" re-creating cache? or kind of problem?

 

just litle background, have dw cs4 , windows xp 64bit hp laptop intel core i5.

could deeper problem.  try renaming dw configuration folder old_configuration.  when restart dw, create whole new folder you.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
