How do I prevent creative cloud from installing a desktop shortcut?

i have absolutely no need desktop shortcut cc, since have running in taskbar whenever start computer. what's worse have type in admin username , password able delete these icons work computer. it's pain thing don't want keeps popping every update. desktop cluttered, doesn't need adobe's making worse.

 

any way stop adobe adding desktop shortcut cc?

there no option uncheck "create desktop shortcut" in other installers far know.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
