Thread: Xubuntu 13.04 loses default browser setting

i switched xubuntu 13.04 , experience on older hp mini netbook.

1 annoying problem having every once in while xubuntu forget has default browser. clear not setting wrong default browser not know default browser set.

use chrome still have firefox installed. use ff , may uninstall have backup browser installed cases when pages not render correctly or other quirk.

when xubuntu forgets has default browser, can go settings -->preferred applications , browser setting blank. can launch chrome , said not default browser , if launch firefox says not default browser.

not happen time or after every reboot enough annoying.

ideas or suggestions of places check appreciated.

are sure did not click yes on "xxx not default browser..." message
have not had issue on 13.04
using chromium , firefox, have custom script set default browser
