so, desktop has plga775 socket on it, want upgrade processor regular lga775.

forsee real issues? (i don't want hear theoretical danger really, let me know if work. )

motherboard make & model?

under impression plga refers how cpu packaged , not related socket on mb.

having returned pc gaming platform, (after having left consoles many years ago), i'm debating whether add gaming desktop collection, i'm interested in getting comparison between current laptop, , of newer equipment out there. laptop lenovo e420, i3-2310m, hd3000 graphics. scored 854 under glmark2, in windowed mode cinnamon running. i'd see everyone's scores, (please include graphic card have), , i'm interested in amd apu's (for budgetary reasons). i'd sure see gtx 680 & hd 7970 can do, if salivate at.
