all my photos appear to have different "zooming" problems

i don't know label subject hope enough. anyways, making movie photos have taken movies took while studying abroad , have reaccuring problem photos. of them come in perfect, fit screen , there nothing wrong them, others zoom in 200%(it looks like) in center of photo , don't want that. want photo looks on preview screen , no matter try , see problem is, whenever playback image zoomed in in comparison preview of photo is... photos given big thick boarder around photo , zoomed out.

 

all photos jpeg, taken phone , camera.

thanks i've been trying figure out 2 days!

in timeline, right-click photo , choose "scale frame". can set universally in preferences also, affect clips imported after making change.
