Thread: How to tether Internet connection on mobile phone to ubuntu 12.04 Laptop ?

hi all,

have ubuntu 12.04 on laptop. mobile phone motorola quench xt3 falls in commtiva z71 category. os on mobile android 2.3.7. using internet connection on mobile tethering laptop. connection not recognised google , few webpages or frames of web pages not opening. connection recognised wired network ubuntu.

want overcome configuring connection mobile broad band.

how can this? please help.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
