Thread: Deluge permission problem

hi,

have installed deluged , deluge-web on ubuntu 12.04 server following this guide.

work fine, except when try change download destination directory /mnt/raid5/torrents, "permission denied: /mnt/raid5/...." when download torrent.

have tried :

chown -r deluge:deluge /mnt/raid5/torrents chmod -r 777 /mnt/raid5/torrents

but still have same error, don't understand why can"t have access chmod 777 on directory ..

can't problem, can tell ! never use: chmod -r 777 bla_blu_bla never make sense !!!!!
