i running lucid 10.4 no windows os @ all. haven't been able install proprietry converter prog.

yes,i have purchased icoustic player.
have tried play avi videos after re-sizing them 320x240 @ 25 frames winff.
have followed sticky , installed medibuntu repo list of sources , enabled partner repo, copy , paste commands terminal , executed it. opened , closed winff , re booted. per sticky.
ran winff (full of confidence) , nada .... file format error....
missing other simple use gui

direction appreciated.

i gave waiting , installed proprietary disk on wife's windows machine....job done.


pity though.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
