Thread: kubuntu won't boot up after install.

hello.

trying install kubuntu 13.04 on thinkpad x100e. running fine usb stick (i'm typing thhat now), won't boot harddrive. starts, seems booting up, goes black screen , stays there. running linux mint fine.

thoughts anyone?

no idea, if ran ok usb should run ok hdd. weird
possibly try reinstall atm no lol.
running mint nadia xfce on old netbook , great.
wish more technically helpful

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
