Thread: Wireless not staying connected

i've been having problem every time i've tried installing , using ubuntu 12.10 have not been able find solution problem.

have usb wireless network adapter shows "realtek rtl8188cu wireless lan 802.11n usb network adapter" in device manager in windows, i've forgotten how stuff in linux since haven't used in while.

anyway, ubuntu able find network , i'm able put in password, not connect , it'll re-prompt me password though correct. last time booted ubuntu, connected few seconds before disconnected , not re-connect.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
