Thread: Best online / brick and mortar vedors for ubuntu laptops?

  • i'm windows user trying change ubuntu. i'm normal user, not programmer
  • the word "dual boot" scares me .
  • i'm everyday user. switch on machine , use xl, word, powerpoint, pdf, browsing, web e mail etc [no gaming]
  • i _not_ installing os on machine !!
  • i need new laptop, , i'm planning buy laptop in range of i3, 750 gb hdd, 4 gb ram, 15 inch display etc
  • i live in middle east (arabian middle east)
  • the more around, more find windows on laptops


request :

  • which vendors, manufacturers sell ubuntu laptops ? i.e. made ubuntu or linux , not windows laptops have dual boot etc
  • online vendors anywhere ... brick , mortar have middle east
  • usage of laptop : xl, word, powerpoint [these 3 replaced libre or open office] , pdf [say odf], browsing, web e mail etc [no gaming]
  • if have posted on wrong forum, please direct me right 1
