Thread: Sound card gone, dummy output only Ubuntu 13.04 i686 on intel HDMI

i have intel nuc machine connected tv. after last 13.04 kernel update (two days ago) sound stopped working.
haven't changed sound config far know, should standard unity/pulseaudio set up.

sound setting control panel shows dummyoutput.
should show intel hda. affects 2 user acconts on machine.


kernel modules appear loaded ok
