i have older version of photoshop – photoshop 7 exact. take many snapshots iphone 4s or 5. e-mail many of snapshots myself , open them in photoshop size down. lately however, when go size down , save many images, window red x says “could not complete request because of program error”. bizarre. bug? need re-install photoshop? version of photoshop old support these photos? why happening?  test, took same photos iphone 4 did 4s , 5 , didn’t have issue.  if have idea why happening or how might able fix problem, i’d appreciate it. –steven makransky

what operating system using?

 

i'd reset photoshop 7 preferences , see if makes difference.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
