Thread: AMD APU + GPU OpenCL processing.

i have installed catalyst 13.1 driver , amd app sdk 2.80 opencl opencl support. can use gpu right now.

, remove other xorg.confs , reboot machine.

it's weird since both show in

not give result.

pretty how far have gotten googling around.

since last x mess ended removing proprietary drivers stated above, use open drivers boot , install 2:9.000-0ubuntu3 ubuntu repos. didn't change much. it's using integrated apu gpu, can't change settings ccc or thru amdconfig --adapter. if manually mess xorg.conf files whole x goes down.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
