Thread: freeradius can't start debug mode radiusd -X

i'm going instructions on freeradius website , make big hubbub starting server in debug mode while configuring it. don't doubt necissary don't want move on until figure step out. ubuntu spicific instructions leave mush desired consider myself smart enough, or @ least determined enough, fill in ubuntu specific blanks on own.

i've looked on place , have found people have had same problem seems threads trickel off else, dunno it's hard explain. point being nice simple , consise answer if knows of one.

root@xxx:/etc/freeradius# radiusd -x program 'radiusd' can found in following packages:  * radiusd-livingston  * yardradius try: apt-get install <selected package>

if install packages in uninstalls freeradius. i've tried everything. if helps here contents of freeradius folder

highlited blue files scouered them , cant find of use. read radiusd.conf file couldnt find defiantive in other same old "be sure run in radius debug radiusd -x" see listed everywhere.

got idea i'm going wrong?
