Windows OpenType CFF Font Rendering
we have situation our identity font displaying terribly in ms word 2010 on windows 7. font looks great in indesign , illustrator. font family opentype postscript outlines, aka cff. behavior consistent opentype font adobe, such myriad pro or adobe garamond.
i windows font rendering engine optimized truetype outlines , renders postscript outlines poorly. think adobe using different rendering engine creative suite applications, perhaps own. have not been able find specific documentation of these statements.
does ring true? know of specific documentation of poor font rendering in windows applications, ms office?
