Thread: No HUD Ubuntu 12.04

did recent install of ubuntu 12.04, , there no hud. tap alt key , nothing happens. tried this:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:unity-team/hud
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade. on first command said not access ppa. need add something?

reboot?
