Effects not showing up on 3d text layer?

hi im running problem motion tracked 3d text scene, when add effect mossaic text nothing showing up. effect on! text remains same before, motion tracked regular. doing wrong or can effects placed on non 3d text. btw duplicated text, turned 3d off , added effect , worked fine.

everything date , computer setting way above need run after effects.

are using ray-traced rendering? did read warning?

 

if yes, pre-compose ray-traced 3d text layer, make main comp classic, not collapse transformations , apply filter.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
