Thread: Raring update from beta

hello,

have been running 13.04 beta while , whenever run update, last few lines of update process this

code:

reading package lists... done w: error occurred during signature verification. repository not updated , previous index files used. gpg error: http://extras.ubuntu.com raring release: following signatures invalid: badsig 16126d3a3e5c1192 ubuntu extras archive automatic signing key <ftpmaster@ubuntu.com>  w: failed fetch http://extras.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/raring/release    w: index files failed download. have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

can please tell me gpg error is, why not desirable , how can go fixing it.

gpg errors related missing launchpad gpg keys ppas have added software sources. if want know gpg keys, please see this: the gnu privacy handbook

fix it, run these commands @ terminal window:

sudo apt-get clean cd /var/lib/apt sudo mv lists lists.old sudo mkdir -p lists/partial sudo apt-get clean sudo apt-get update
