Thread: Flash Videos Will Not Work......

i'm semi new user of linux, , have no clue half things in system im not new computers. first installed linux mint onto uncles newer hp desktop , worked great until cpu fried on me. took hard drive , put in older compaq 2004. worked flash figued set newer pc. reinstalled still had same issue, resorted ubuntu because im more familliar again same problem & can't figure out. date, tried adding random flash plugins see if might work still nothing white screen unless scroll down shows black box. saved flash videos work , other various video formats not through firefox or chrome..... amazing , appreciated.

run terminal:

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer

install flash

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
