Thread: Triple boot - refit - reinstall windows 7

hello community,

have mbp, have installed , enjoyed mac os x, ubuntu (from 10-12), , windows 7 pro 64 bit.

want install (a new) windows 7 (a 32 bit version) - , either delete 64 bit version, or resize partition (doesn't matter).

last time did similar, refit got messed up, , boot mac os x.

re-installed them new again.

rather not that, time around - though perhaps best option?

question is, know of simple steps required install windows 7 (32-bit) on windows 7 (64-bit),
without destroying ubuntu , mac os installs - or booting process?

tips appreciated. rather come here before mess things up, after - if can avoid dumb =)

ok, in case 1 worry rat me.

it's easy. -reinstall windows on same partition had windows on before, , me - @ least, there have been no issues.

interesting when things work =)

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
