Thread: xen doesn't boot --12.10 install

i have new intel motherboard (hopes of getting sr-iov working on xen).

when install , try boot xen on 12.10 ubuntu, see expected xen text scroll , ... stall @ black screen.
after long time after 1 boot, see:

(yeah, know should 6 minutes)
trying switch simple virtual terminal screens doesn't work @ all.

works champ "normal" boot (vs. xen).

that's not working out me @ all.

have use big button cycle system. there xen logs can see , share when booting linux? ... or something?

when boot same xen disk on (older , less powerful) system, able boot xen ... mostly. graphical screen comes mouse pointer (responsive movement) on black background. there blinking underline cursor @ top left corner. able go virtual terminals , login. confirms lines i'm hoping per:

still big problem me don't have graphical environment working , bigger problem newer system doesn't boot xen.
there ubuntu xen mailing list can reference / work with?
can contribute debugging effort , xen work newer systems.
there place can source code package used by
apt-get install xen-hypervisor-amd64
?
there process go through filing bug? ubuntu xen not work on hardware ubuntu supports.
tips or references appreciated.

can confirm problem here, too. no working solution yet! xen loads , after extracting boot-image results in automatic reboot.

have solution here?
