Adobe Camera Raw 6.7 Installation Failure

from adobe bridge cs5, enter help, updates.

adobe application manager informs me can update adobe camera raw 6.7.

i click install, software downloaded tha installation failure message.

when click on 'customer support' on screen, directed 'http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-serial-number-qualifying-product.html'.

at no point during installation asked serial number.

please confirm acr version help->about plugin->camera raw , provide following logs.

you can find them at:

acr installer logs

for mac:

library\logs\adobe\installer

for win:

program files(x86)\common files\adobe\installers


 

aam logs

for mac:

/volumes/%volume name%/users/%username%/library/application support/adobe/aamupdater/1.0

for win:

c:\users\<username>\appdata\local\adobe\aamupdater


you can zip files , send through mail. in finding root cause.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
