Thread: EFI Stub Installation - No Grub

hello!

i've decided return ubuntu after quite long hiatus upcoming 13.04. question i'm curious if has been able install ubuntu on uefi based computer while not using grub. want able turn on computer, , have load right ubuntu. i've been able on other distro's efi stub, efibootmgr, etc. problem was compiling own kernel's , had add parameters config allow boot without bootloader. i'm not looking refind, or gummiboot, or that. i'm looking way bypass grub, , add boot option in uefi boot right ubuntu.

has been able accomplish this, or there guide out there somewhere? i've looked around, i've found nothing. i'd grateful if me out, thanks!

think still need menu, unless want go uefi each time?
