Help! Trying to remove text from an already saved image

i accidently saved image watermark & image locked & saved jpeg image.  can't remove text without stamping out or starting over.  know how remove text image has been saved?

you have saved before closing image. long image open in editor, can go original position , original file.

in case have closed, check if have saved version set. if file name contains "edited-1" something, have file preserved.

 

otherwise, if have replaced file without having copy of anywhere else, cannot revert changes.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
