Thread: How can I add new user to already existing group in console mode ?[Solved]

hi!
in title, want add user existing group.
in fact it´s seems did because used command "adduser --ingroup groupa user2” , when passwd see "user2(this user want add)" assignated groupa.
problem appear when want log in user2, because when type password, linux don´t nothing. think problem permition, , tried change owner of document groupa(with chown) doesn´t gave me any results, here question:
do wrong or need use other command?
