Export Freeze in Premiere Pro CC

good day everyone.

 

we have 4 late 2012 imacs:

 

3.7 i7 processor

32 gb ram

1tb fusion drive

3 of them have gtx 680mx 2gb gpu's , 1 has gtx 675mx 1gb gpu.

 

all of these machines plugged directly our 28tb editshare server.

 

here's fun part. of these machines can export codec in wrapper local drive. no mess. whenever try export film using qt pro apps codec (pro res (any flavour), apple intermediate codec & animation) export hang. no error messages or codes export stops , premiere sit there @ same percentage until force quit application. there no consistency when export hang. has hung @ 4% 7% 12% 33% 67% 72% , 99% sequence clean, no effects or filters or adjustment layers present. pure footage , audio. (the footage .mts hang happens when using footage transcoded prores) once hang happens can still access local hard drive , applications. cannot access files stored on either smb or afp mounted editshare project space. , if try reopen premiere hangs when trying load quicktime bundle. forced hard reboot machine operational once again.

 

this exact same hang happens when using adobe media encoder. though interestingly can export same sequence fcp 7 editshare flavour of prores, aic or animation. can transcode prores wmv (using bigasoft , encoding straight editshare) can use mpeg streamclip transcode prores going straight editshare.

 

just add spanner works can export same sequence premiere pro 7.2.1 (4) flavour of prores, directly editshare on older 2009 mac pro, 2010 imac , mid 2011 imac. late 2012 imacs hang when exporting editshare using 1 of above codecs.

 

i have been in contact editshare have checked network logs , seems fine, have ran diagnostic , replair scripts , checks can , system seems healthy , happy. side note seems no 1 have spoken @ editshare has ever seen issue before.

 

does have idea going on or has ever seen issue before? appreciated.

i have applaud thoroughness in testing , detail in writing up.

 

unfortunately may not of assistance. have assume (by thoroughness) machines running same os version. if case, seem have isolated problem either 2012 mac hardware (imac or ethernet chipset) or specific ethernet drivers model.

 

chances are, since ppro 7.2.1 works in environment on other macs, mac/editshare problem.
