InDesign CS6 crashes often while moving objects on page

persistent crashing while moving objects pasteboard live area, library live area, live area. both text , image frames. scrolling between pages in layout.

 

we working k4 publishing system, not implicated in crash reports. don't use font management tools.

 

all crash reports similar, implicating writing memory or virtual memory.  research i've done date implicates this, there nothing concrete, no smoking gun. here's sample indicitive of crashes:

we have cs6 installed on mid-2009 imacs 10.6.8 or 10.8.5 , on brand new imacs (10.8.5) tons of memory.

 

we've remade templates scratch.

we've idml-ed remade templates , re-imported them.

we've removed items pasteboard on templates.

we've added ram.

we've upgraded os.

we've bought new hardware.

 

crashes persist.  1 have other ideas? we're out...

do have open or non updated incopy assignments in document?

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
