Thread: software to document download speed?

my isp giving me bunch of crap performance of network , it's ability deliver promised download speeds. obviously, can't @ computer 24/7, don't see malfunctions, drop outs , file transfers stop without warning.

there software can monitor network throughput , issue report can sent isp's tech department??? ideally generate text file, it's transferred (small file opposed video) , give approximate same information network history trace in system monitor application.

must open source.

appreciate nudge in right direction.......

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
