how do i disable hw accelerator using windows 8? its different than windows 7

how disable hw accelerator in windows 8 ? different windows 7.

in flash player, it's still in settings manager. right click flash content , select "settings..." it's right there under first tab.

if it's not there, video adapter doesn't support hardware acceleration.

also, have option in firefox, not internet explorer. since flash player ie embedded microsoft, won't see if system doesn't support hardware acceleration.

 

in windows:

please refer these steps check if graphics card supports hardware acceleration or not , enable or disable it:

 

a.     on desktop, press windows key + x , select control panel.

b.     in large icons view, click on display , click on change display settings, in left pane.

c.      click on advanced settings.

 

in advanced settings window, if troubleshooting tab present, graphics card supports hardware acceleration.

 

b.     click on troubleshooting tab , move hardware acceleration slider full.

c.      click on ok , restart computer save settings.
