Advice needed on speeding up load times.

i need practical advice on ways in can speed load time on 1 particular page of website. page: http://www.thinksmartresumes.com.au/%2499-designs.html

 

i know there hundreds of localised factors including internet connection lots of people have commented page take on 30 seconds load. know it's big page lots of png's , links. can speed things up???

 

any advice welcome apart splitting page (that's not option). can't read code btw.

i tried check page loads slow , can see reason, while opening page , browser downloads 10.1 mb of data single page out of 9.7 mb images have used on page.

the images have checked png format , defines states.

 

the option can use optimize images have used, example if have used images opacity or states effect, try create image outside of muse editor photoshop , use image should lower down size in comparison defined states.

 

resize images , use web fonts etc , these things can check in loading page faster.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
