Thread: Control my computer (home automation) using modem from received call and DTMF

i call home outside , have computer use dtmf run scripts.

can gentle folks in community give me suggestions freeware this?

ideally, have external answering machine non-nerd can deal with, , have computer "snoop" line , act according dtmf signals.

or,

computer can answer line , act answering machine, able receive dtmf codes , run various scripts depending on code.

old @ computers, new @ trying this. don't know lot of terminology finding difficult search.

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
