Thread: How do I downgrade back to Ubuntu 12.10 from 13.04?

upon upgrading ubuntu 12.10 13.04, have encounter lots of problems because wasn't able upgrade properly. advice downgrade or perhaps shed light on how fix these numerous problems?

no way downgrading.

try fix it: boot recovery mode, activate network, , select "dpkg" fix borked upgrade.
of course, before upgrading, sure third party repo(s) (like ppa) desactivated.

maybe first clean system: clean/autoclean/autoremove/gtkorphan/bleachbit

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
