can't get acrobat 9 pro to load as part of CS5 suite for mac

i had reinstall full cs5 package, , had no issues reinstalling indesign, photoshop , illustrator original disks, when insert aa9 pro disk, *appears* download, , i'm able open it, eject disk, program grays out. icon stays in doc, nothing happens when click on -- when check applications folder , click on icon there, error msg says: "the alias “adobe acrobat 9 pro” can’t opened because original item can’t found."

 

i can't figure out i'm doing wrong. (not sure has it, other cs5 disk in suite package -- indesign, photoshop , illustrator -- prompted me serial number , product code, when inserted disk aa9 pro, didn't happen.) suggestions? btw: posted question in forum, suggested may cs-specific issue....)

are sure you're using correct 2nd disk?  possible have acrobat pro disk that's not part of cs5 collection?

 

if yes , no, cs5 collection have?

NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.   after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect. at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result). the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file. nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time! now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate. i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefex...
