Need Help With Exporting EPS Files That Will Be Opened In Another Program

i trying export files illustrator in eps format, used in program called "blufftitler". documentation pretty sparse , doesn't go detail. mentions following:

 

"limited support

blufftitler has limited eps support. imports filled shapes built out of lines , curves uncompressed, unoptimized eps files."

 

no matter settings try in illustrator when exporting eps file, won't open in blufftitler, , keeps throwing me errors. tried choosing "illustrator 3" format, , turning off preview option. tried "expanding" shape several times too. there other way in illustrator export bare-bones eps files without extras or other stuff might cause problems other programs?

 

the funny thing is, when create eps files program, such vector magic, work fine in blufftitler - seems have problem eps files created in illustrator specifically.

 

any appreciated, in advance!

the main problem blufftitler doesn't have eps handler can import eps files 10k each , not overly complex. if @ sample .eps files come it, each 1 1 or 2k each. simple circle in illustrator, when saved v3 without preview, around 258k. reason larger file sizes due things being saved in file aren't on page, such brush presets , graphic styles. sample .eps files come blufftitler don't have these presets files smaller.

 

something may want try open 1 of sample eps files , use file vector work save file new name. found doing files down smaller size. may want setup vectors in illustrator first, save them, , open files in inkscape, http://www.inkscape.org. i've read, inkscape can small file sizes it's should check out.
