NIK SELECTIVE TOOL INTERMITTANT FAILURE.

ref: win7-64 /ps cs6 /google-nik collection.

 

after working "a time", select brush option in nik plugin, & when image "re-opens" in ps, plugin has selected ps brush tool, & can paint on effect i'd created, selective tool interface fails open, & there's no way apply or discard effect.

at point ps "hung", waiting command either apply, or discard brush effect, can't done without selective tool interface; , way out, ctrl/alt/del close photoshop-- & lose work!  (results in ps appscrash result).

the selective tool folder contained selectivepalette.8li file, along seltoolinst.cfg (instructional script tool??), , hdrefexpro2.jsx file.

nik told me hdrefexpro2.jsx file did not belong there, & delete it, , sent me seltoolinst.cfg file replace existing one; , fixed problem short time!

now works awhile, fails.---wont open either brush command, or automate.

i check folder, & "something" has placed/re-placed deleted  hdrefexpro2.jsx in???

as before, delete hdrefexpro2.jsx file, delete & replace seltoolinst.cfg file copy of same file deleted, , "everything" works until after short while fails again, & repeat same routine again & again!

since replacing .cfg file, copy of "itself" fixes problem short time; must corrupting file; , keeps putting deleted hdrefexpro2 file (that nik claims doesn't belong there), beyond me, & apparently beyond nik's customer service , well!
