i'm trying find way made 1 particular interface, , it's dhcp settings, priority on in regards dns lookup. have laptop that's connected 2 networks, 1 via wireless, , 1 via ethernet. routing find, route 10.x addresses through wlan0 , default 0.x through eth0. however, i'm having trouble dns. can't seem find way make wlan0 priority network dns resolution. /etc/nsswitch.conf doesn't differentiate device. , /etc/resolve.conf dynamically updated based on primary device, right it's eth0 set 192.168.1.1. how can make wireless network primary device (for dns). can handle in general, , manually updated routing table change default route network cable. *this solved (but can't mark thread "solved"): /etc/resolvconf/interface-order defines dns interface order. put wlan* above eth* , it's working perfectly. you might able use prepend domain-name-servers line in /etc/dhcp/...

after many years of using lr first time i've encountered issue (see 1st screenshot below). lr scrambling files. affected raw files open fine in other programs, including adobe photoshop cc (see 2nd screenshot).   help.   your files corrupted somehow, hardware problem. lightroom reads information given hard disk, , when disk sends corrupted information, get. many other programs read , display embedded jpg preview, can appear different (and uncorrupted)   you need troubleshoot hardware, beginning camera , camera card, , continuing on through transmission camera computer, , checking computer's hard disk , memory. when tried scanning in lexmark impact s300-400 series came out distorted instead of normal under ubuntu 12.10. when use printer-scanner on other computer works fine scanning stuff in normal. think may driver issue not having support lexmark impact s305 series , tried installing different driver different series substitute not being there in drivers list. during initial printer setup section couldn't find necessary drivers particular lexmark model. it's sorta new-ish printer bought on year ago. couldn't find drivers through searching manually, , checked lexmark site linux drivers couldn't find, did link me external source had deb file, didn't work except adding support work scanner part of it. here's looks distorted scanning. left open scanner bed see it's doing when scans, , scanning bar doesn't appear broken in way, worked should when scanning, appears linux driver problem, , not having right 1 installed work. disorted scan-1....

hello community,   i have nice setting microphone on adobe audition 6. have 1 big problem.   how can setup threshold limit value microphone voice? issue is, have ambient noises on recording, need "minimum" activation line. hi all, been while since posted on these forums. i've been using ubuntu 12.10 default unity config (tried cinnamon preferred pre-config'd in mint). i've noticed while @ random times during use of computer, artefacts appear throughout screen. either white boxes or image becomes pixellated somewhat. don't know if it's because of unity or compiz or fglrx drivers or what. in addition artefacts, entire screen flips upside down @ random moments, while i'm browsing internet. in both situations, go normal move mouse around. in case of screen flip, had one, , browsing forum post in google chrome. @ first, .gif signature image right-side-up. then, moved mouse, chrome window fixed itself, , finally, moved cursor (which, way, not get flipped) unity launcher. after entire screen normal. have ideas? oh, , though catalyst control centre installed , i've changed settings (including v-sync on tear-free desktop), details in system settings still says...
