hi, tried ubuntu 13.04 beta 2 through usb boot, , found brightness toggle not work. have thinkpad t430. think issue kernel version 3.8. works fine ubuntu 12.04.2. tried centos 6.4 , works fine stock kernel, not kernel version 3.8. else having same issue? ubuntu raring never remembers brightness setting, boots max bright. ouch. manual systems settings > brightness > move slider required. acer aspire 5253 widescreen 15": notebook. know of cli or exec issue on every boot? thanks....
