hi, i have strange problem adobe acrobat. happens totally randomly, leaves no signs in system logs. what happening: during work adobe acrobat sudennly crashes. after crash cannot run again - system seems second, nothing happends. when taks manager - there no processes of acrobat.exe. doesn't want run. need reinstall whole adobe acrobat - requires restart. i've tried restart system after crash, doesn't - reinstall required. sometimes everyting fine 3 months, crash happens week after previous one. happens in different situations (somtimes  while opening file, when doing simple, in more complex tasks). has encountered similar problem? acrobat version: 10.1.1 system info: windows 7 64 bit More discussions in Installing, Updating, & Subscribing to Acrobat adobe

first, question may not applicable support here because tried kubuntu 13.04 alpha 2 , beta 1 , reverted 12.04. wanted try because it's on acer 270 netbook atom 2600 , cedarview graphics. latter drivers built kernel (3.7 think?) , part definitely worked better. rest had many problems after update or two. don't have recovery skills. i'm conservative repos , in windows days wouldn't install beta versions of app software, let alone os. want upgrade 13.04 when official release comes out. anyway, here's question. netbook has broadcom 4313 wireless device. did sort of weird cross connecting on 1 wireless node use sometimes. under 12.04 had install 3.6 backports packages make work properly. so, there similar available 13.04? or can point me in direction prepare me i'll need do? i have old list contacts fin contact book way earlier versio of pse. try remove contacts. when choose delete, contact disappears when hit ok close window, contact still there when reopen contact book. how startover contacts in contact book the easiest way launch organizer , select photomail share tab.  of course select 1 of pictures before clicking on share tab works expected.   now should see this:   click on icon marked red box , able delete window opens.   select name , click on delete button , done.   good luck. i change colour of simple custom shape in photoshp elements 12. have used paint can makes edges of shape pixellated wondering if there better way? if shape hasn't been simplified, , saved layered file, go shape tool, make sure shape layer active , choose new color in tool options color rectangle.   if simplified shape or flattened image, select shape selection tool(s) of choice (magic wand this), , go enhance>adjust color>adjust hue/saturation or create hue/sat adjustment layer, , use sliders change color. hello.   i'm new premiere please bear me. i've done lot of searching haven't been able find concrete answer.   it i'm approaching wrong way, lack of results searches.   as starter project want create short movie in string maybe dozen clips. montage.   upon loading premiere first time created new project , expected similar composition settings box in ae appear, set size , framerate of project. didn't appear.   having watched tutorials figured i'd need create sequence. did , pesented new sequence dialog full of presets, none of applied me (my sources comes in variety of sizes & formats). instead headed settings tab create own preset. seems work , created sequence 1920x1080 , 23.976fps - settings i'd use comp in ae.   i assume act master sequence place clips , scale/crop them desired.   is correct approach or doing wrong? also, should scaling/cropping clips in ae first when import them premiere consistent?     thanks in advance, rob it hel...

we have developed app has been released both apple , android working well. when trying same blackberry rejected because did not start @ all.   the app runs fine on blackberry simulator in "run configurations mode".   however when try run in debug mode not start @ all. flashes , simulator goes main menu. the debugger after while time out since cannot connect app running on simulator. blackberry 10 simulator runs under vmware fusion.     anyone seen before? i bought samsung series 9 ultrabook (np900x4c-a05au) , trying install linux distribution (dual boot) on it. machine won't boot usb (no cd drive), have disabled fast boot bios, used 2 different (ntfs formatted) usbs , tried 3 usb ports. tried using unetbootin, universal usb installer, diskimager , linux live usb creator make image on usb. tried using ubuntu, kubuntu , kali on usb. pressing f10 can see usb in boot menu, machine not boot usb (even when disabling boot hdd in bios). know else can try, or how fix this? ultrabook complicates complicated uefi install intel uses raid desktop installer not see, , have optimus many working bumblebee. need use 64 bit version of 12.10 or 12.04.2 , uefi menu boot flash drive in uefi mode. way install in uefi mode. systems need quick boot or fast boot turned off in uefi settings. vital systems. best backup efi partition , windows partition first. use window...

i use vnstat keep track of data transfer usage. started use usb 3g dongle (which ubuntu likes call "eth1"), , vnstat refuses play it. code: t0p@mars:~$ vnstat -d -i eth1 error: unable read database "/var/lib/vnstat/eth1". i thought maybe /var/lib/vnstat/eth1 directory missing because started using dongle after installing vnstat. went through this palaver: code: t0p@mars:~$ sudo mkdir /var/lib/vnstat/eth1 t0p@mars:~$ vnstat -d -i eth1 error: unable open backup database "/var/lib/vnstat/.eth1". t0p@mars:~$ sudo mkdir /var/lib/vnstat/.eth1 t0p@mars:~$ vnstat -d -i eth1 error: database load failed when using backup. aborting. anyone know i'm going wrong? cheers. i cannot creat custom stamps in adobe - comments i sorry have not answer else same issue.   i have reader 11.0.6 , using mac computer. i have specialised pdf image, others have imported use, and, after selecting file, in create custom stamp facility, not imported. i notice show stamps palette option has no discernable effect. the pdf file have opened configured allow annotations , have signed in valid adobe id.   is there obvious missing ? i don't know how describe ... reason floating panels exceed depth of laptop screen. can not bottom of window grab , resize it. happens time ... i'm not sure triggers it. how reset panels can leave them floating yet access bottom row of functions? i'm stumped. i'm sure it's simple ... don't know be. grrrrrrr   thanks in advance. it's important know whether running osx or windows. answers vary because of way controls work.   window menu > workspace > reset start.  if windows, resize button might help. that's middle button in upper right corner. toggle , see.   you can hide taskbar @ bottom if stops reaching bottom of panel.   if mac, toggle green resize button in upper-left corner. i have adobe premiere elements 11. before happened screen fine , have edited 2 videos program , working on third. while editing video screen magnified. screen 1920-x1080 on think 19inch screen. cannot acces program because parts of not on screen , not accessable. did not understand going on @ time when first happened, ended rebooting computer. when booting program screen magnified, desktop while booting premier program. computer has magnifier turned off. not in double screen mode. when close program down, after window closes program, takes 20 seconds desktop return normal. while booting program , when closing screen go black 5 seconds , screen changed either magnification mode when booting or normal when closing program. happens preimiere program, not photoshop, organizer or other program.   any great. frbarr   on computer operating system premiere elements 11 running on? if mac, did purchase adobe premiere elements 11 editor mac app store?   please described computer o...
