Blank pages randomly generated
ik have odd problem indesign cc. document working on shows totally blank pages. text strings going through pages intact seem invisible. after deleting pages (always spread, or number of spreads) , inserting new ones can restore file linking text in new boxes. there no crash cannot anticipate on problem. @ 1 time sent pdf printer blank pages seemed have been created before making it. these days check pdf blank pages before sending off. **** causes this?
when blank pages appear, text jump on them, or text have been on pages gone well? 2 common reasons follows:
- a column break(s) or frame break(s) has/have been inserted text stream, causing text jump next available page. happens if use enter key in 10-key pad (column break, or if hold shift, frame break) instead of wide enter key in main keyboard.
- keep options such frame on particular page small fit text. example, suppose had text frame full, , accidentally moved bottom edge slightly, causing last line jump next frame. if keep options of of lines of page set stay together, wouldn't fit on page, , jump next available frame. if frame correct size, of text go it, if small first one, text jump third frame (and on until found 1 fit).
i'm not sure if either of these cause of problem, it's worth having look.
