i started @ new employer , on day 3 of adobe cloud. finished hour's worth of time-sensitive work when photoshop crashed. wasn't worried because made save, when went re-open file, gone. instead of .psd file, there .tmp file. brought head of our department , helped me search file, couldn't find on network (local server). can this, , how can prevent happening again? do have auto save enabled in preferences?  saved same directory cache.   also,  if working on complex project wise save copy, different name,  every often.  if have no problems can deleted @ end.
