i've been using id cc few months (previously used id 5) , have been having problem moving placed image. i'm sure i'm missing knowledge of changed upgrade path, can't figure out what.   it used i'd place object (with black selection tool selected), i'd click on , drag want it. now, of time, , frame moved without content. after number of attempts, seem manage grab right way (but don't know is) , whole thing move properly.   shouldn't need click on (with black selection tool) , drag right place? necessary click on place of image (doesn't seem be) or else i'm missing? with selection tool if hover mouse on image towards center you'll see changes hand icon , double concentric circle (content grabber). if want move image use content grabber. if move cursor bit past content grabber changes black arrow. indicates can move frame + image together. hello work , don't. using virtualbox on host windows 7, when install ubuntu 12.10, without issue. when install 12.10 encrypted, installation failure (the 2 times i've tried it), , when install 12.04, told, once installed, can run in low end graphics mode , proceeds boot seems command line. oh , i've tried enabling io apic , ram 1gb plus. haven't played around vtx though windows 7 host doing fine , don't want mess it, don't know right if have enabled or disabled. i'm on laptop running geforce 260m on dual monitor. i purchased new toshiba x75 qosmio  laptop intel hd graphics 4600 , nvidia 770m graphics card. specs: windows 8.1 x64 intel i7-4700mq 2.4ghz 16gb ram 2 500gb @ sata 7200rpm     i have cs5 , wanted use premiere cc. downloaded ppcc cloud , opened few projects made on cs5 couple time s. had add card notebook better faster cuda card recognized , fine. few restarts later recieved error "could not find capable video play modules" , haven't been able open ppcc since. stops on vignette.aex.   opening premiere cc using intel card, i wanted use nvidia assigned better 3gb memory card ppcc. able open few times after.   i've tried: uninstalled , installed pp cc several times. uninstalled , installed nvidia 770m driver several times. updated 770m driver several times. changed "use administrator" adding geforce  gtx 770mcards" had done afx , other programs. recognized in premiere while still open program (before error started) tried changing "compatability"

hi, have interesting thing going on. isn't practical issue, since can around it, interested know causing it. setup: 1) external usb drive attached winxp pro sp3 machine. drive used backups, , shared \\lenovo\e 2) \\lenovo\e mounted on ubuntu 11.04 machine /data2/shared/backups. /data2/shared shared folder vbox vm (win xp pro sp3), issue present irrespective of whether vm (or vbox itself) running, doubting factor (but mentioning in case!) 3) if run winxp pro sp3 vm in vbox, sees /backups directory perfectly. 4) third winxp pro sp2 (not sp3) machine, can see /data2/shared fine. can see /backups directory in there, , files in /backups. however, directories inside /backups appear files of size 0 on winxp pro sp2 machine. why be? realise trying bounce through multiple connections / links / mounts etc, perhaps seeing files wonder @ all, intrigued why directories don't show directories. said above, not practical issue, since can connect winx

well, sort of screwed thoughts on , went off in wrong direction, so........i have old laptop running xubuntu has 750gb usb drive attached. i'd set samba shares require login - ex: folder1 accessed user1. user1 running on windows machine. have 3 laptops in house i'd access own shares on 750gb drive on xubuntu machine. 1 xp, 1 windows 7 , last windows 8. i'd able following: @ logon on each windows machine, automatically connect "user" userid , password xubuntu share user. way users of each of laptops doesn't have know squat shares - there disk available. it's been long long time, remember when working windows shares log user in , connect logical drive share (folder) on server. think same thing samba , various windows laptops. know how set share in samba. know how create samba user - don't know how use on windows side logon, connect, whatever want call (or ubuntu box) , assign drive letter share - along lines of //server/sh

hello.   i try , give background issue; have photography portfolio site making. there page called catalogue. (this page contains 3 part tooltip, each target area of tooltip contains composition of 3x3 images act collectively catalogue of work.) using previous/next buttons can navigate through 3 pages of tooltip each have 3x3images= total of 27 images on 3 pages.   each of these 27images in catalogue represents different body of work, example; photo of glass bottle (when clicked) opens drinks photos, photo of animal opens pet photos.   each image therefore trigger can clicked on , stacked composition allows specific body of work open on top of catalogue, in new box of 3x3 photos appears if magic in exact same position catalogue images. new window has close button; when clicked, return page on within catalogue of 27 images.   easy right?   my problem no matter do; when click on catalogue image, , new composition opens on top displaying body of work, previous/ next button doesnt dissapea

i've finished timeline 1080p 24p needs exported. i've tried multiple ways burn dvd using idvd, , have failed. once able burn dvd, there no audio (despite fact export had audio.) i've run out of ideas. suggestions? if suggest using adobe software, please recommend tutorial, idvd program i've used burning dvd's.   as secondary question, can't recall export settings more successful. there way recall previous export settings? i learning ubuntu on older dell notebook (that used run xp pro), , runs except windows program in wine converts dvds mp4s , vastly better i've found that's native linux. unfortunately, apparently can't use libdvdcss when reading dvds. i've tried handbrake, gui long way 1 in terms of usability. no amount of searching has uncovered answer or things try...until today. able find workaround discovering how dvd d******r see dvd drive , rip files hard drive, @ point application noted above can access them , convert mp4. has video previewing , allows individual files renamed prior conversion, features prove invaluable when processing dvd content. hi, don't know messed up, booting damaged. started pc via live cd, opened gparted, find no device there. ( have 1 hdd os's connected). on terminal command "sudo blkid" find live cd. hello community, have mbp, have installed , enjoyed mac os x, ubuntu (from 10-12), , windows 7 pro 64 bit. want install (a new) windows 7 (a 32 bit version) - , either delete 64 bit version, or resize partition (doesn't matter). last time did similar, refit got messed up, , boot mac os x. re-installed them new again. rather not that, time around - though perhaps best option? question is, know of simple steps required install windows 7 (32-bit) on windows 7 (64-bit), without destroying ubuntu , mac os installs - or booting process? tips appreciated. rather come here before mess things up, after - if can avoid dumb =) thanks, mat ok, in case 1 worry rat me. it's easy. -reinstall windows on same partition had windows on before, , me - @ least, there have been no issues. interesting when things work =) Forum The Ubuntu Forum Community Ubuntu Spe
