Thread: mtpfs problems in 12.10

i'm trying find way transfer files ubuntu 12.10 system nexus 4, wants use mtp. i've read various articles on how this, one:
http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2011/12/h...or-file-access
here output when try give mtpfs command (with phone connected via usb):

$mtpfs -o allow_other /mnt/nexus4
listing raw device(s)
device 0 (vid=18d1 , pid=4ee1) unknown.
please report vid/pid , device model libmtp development team
found 1 device(s):
18d1:4ee1 @ bus 1, dev 7
attempting connect device
ptp_error_io: failed open session, trying again after resetting usb interface
libmtp libusb: attempt reset device
android device detected, assigning default bug flags
listing file information on device name: (null)

then, when try @ mount point:

$ ls /mnt/nexus4
ls: cannot access /mnt/nexus4: transport endpoint not connected

can see i'm doing wrong? think ptp_error_io interesting since i'm not trying use ptp.
